Scientific Games has announced the launch of its Kascada cabinet and Coin Combo game theme into Asia.

Described as the company’s first fully international cabinet, Kascada was initially launched into North America earlier this year but is set to hit casino floors across Asia before the end of 2021.

Built by members of Scientific Games’ research and development teams across the globe, Kascada boasts an ultra-high-definition 4K graphics display on a 43-inch, innovative curved monitor and an exciting new lighting package.

To continue with the tradition and culture of player-favorite games, it will launch in Asia with Coin Combo – a progression of the company’s hugely successful Duo Fu Duo Cai and Jin Ji Bao Xi families of games. Coin Combo offers many elements familiar to players of those games such as the Fu Babies, wealth pots, free games and jackpot features with “new and exciting enhancements.”

Scientific Games revealed during a Virtual Summit in May that Kascada would incorporate an additional fifth jackpot level added specifically for the Asian market, sitting above the traditional Grand, Major, Minor and Mini jackpots.

“What this cabinet gives us the ability to do is expand the horizon of a brand, so if you look at Coin Combo, that’s an evolution of Duo Fu Duo Cai into a new cabinet with growing reels and three pots,” explained Scientific Games Vice President Global Sale Games, Nathan Drane, at the time.

“For operators that provides differentiation – it will look different and present different across the casino floor.”
