South Korea’s Kangwon Land has signed a distribution agreement with Peruvian entertainment services provider Latin Games SAC to distribute and sell its self-developed KL Saberi slot machines across South America.
According to information released by Kangwon Land this week, the agreement was signed during last month’s Global Gaming Expo (G2E) in Las Vegas and provides an opportunity for the company to gain a foothold in the South American market. The KL Saberi brand has developed 21 different games since 2017, it added.
A representative of Kangwon Land said overseas expansion of its slot machine brand had endured a “difficult time due to COVID-19.”
However, the situation appears to be improving – Kangwon Land recently signed a similar agreement with Malaysian gaming machine distributor RGB International Bhd to distribute EGMs on its behalf in the Philippines, Cambodia and Vietnam.
