Australia’s Gaming Technologies Association (GTA) has announced plans to host a Queensland Gaming Roadshow incorporating three trade-only events for members to demonstrate gaming machines, support systems and services to buyers from casinos, clubs, pubs and hotels across Queensland.
The Queensland Gaming Roadshow is the GTA’s response to its Australasian Gaming Expo, usually held in Sydney every August, being postponed for a second year running in 2021 due to the COVID-19 outbreak currently raging across New South Wales.
Queensland is one of a handful of Australian states to have remained largely COVID-free thanks to strict border closures.
The Queensland Gaming Roadshow will start at The Ville in Townsville on Thursday 16 September before traveling to Bundaberg’s The Brothers Sports Club on Monday 20 September and finishing at The Star Gold Coast on Thursday 23 September.
Ainsworth, Aristocrat, Aruze, IGT, Konami, Scientific Games, MAX and Utopia Gaming are among the industry suppliers confirmed to be taking part.
“Organising a Roadshow for our members has provided them with an opportunity to meet once again with clients face to face,” said GTA Chairman Adrian Halpenny, also Senior Vice President Australia and Asia – Gaming for Scientific Games.
“With our industry’s more prominent gaming and hospitality events postponed because of COVID-19, the Roadshow is allowing us to catch up with some old friends and to make some new ones.”
At the events, you will have an opportunity to view some of the latest machines from Ainsworth, Aristocrat, Aruze, IGT, Konami and Scientific Games, and chat to MAX and Utopia Gaming staff about the best systems and services for your venue.
The three events will each run from 10am to 4pm.
