MGM China Holdings Limited has joined other Macau concessionaires in donating MOP$10 million (US$1.25 million) to the city of Zhengzhou’s flood relief efforts and to support its post-disaster restoration.
The company on Thursday described the flooding as rarely seen and calamitous, with the resulting devastating having “tugged the heartstrings” of all Chinese people.
“MGM pays close attention to the situation in Zhengzhou in this difficult time,” said MGM China Co-chairperson and Executive Director, Pansy Ho.
“As we share blood ties with our compatriots in Zhengzhou, we would like to express our sincere sympathy to those who are affected with this modest act of support. We hereby extend our best wishes to the people.”
