The casino at Resorts World Sentosa was among 10 new cases added to Singapore’s list of places visited by positive COVID-19 cases.
According to details published by the Ministry of Health (MOH), RWS was visited by a positive patient on consecutive days, initially on the afternoon and evening of 19 May and then on the morning of 20 May in a separate visit.
However, the MOH added there was no requirement for people to steer clear of venues on the list with RWS to continue operating under restricted capacity as previously announced.
The other of Singapore’s two integrated resorts, Marina Bay Sands, closed for two days last month in order to undergo a deep cleaning after two casino dealers tested positive to COVID-19.
MBS also revealed that it has since conducted a mass testing of all staff and contractors with no more positive results forthcoming.
Singapore reported 15 new cases of community transmitted COVID-19 on Tuesday.
