Inside Asian Gaming has announced its sponsors and partners for this week’s Macau After Dark 8, including Platinum Sponsor Scientific Games, Venue Sponsor Portucau, Gold Sponsor IGT and Production Partner Like Entertainment & Production Co. Ltd.

The eighth instalment of IAG’s popular networking social event Macau After Dark, MAD 8, will be held on Friday 5 March at Portucau, a beloved Portuguese-style petiscos house located a very short stroll from Senado Square on the Macau Peninsula. The restaurant provides a wide selection of petiscos, transporting customers back in time to experience old Macanese and Portuguese culture in a casual and friendly environment.

Note that from 2021, due to its enormous popularity, MAD is now strictly by invitation only. Invited guests must RSVP, and be confirmed by having an entry event ticket on their phones. All guests must supply their business cards upon arrival.

Platinum Sponsor Scientific Games will be promoting three new games at MAD 8 this Friday.

  • “Hurricane Horse” is the third Duo Fu Duo Cai game to be approved in Asia for use in the DualosX cabinet, following on from the hugely successful “5 Treasures” and “Diamond Eternity.” Equipped with the player-favorite All Ways and ALL UP game and Jackpot features, “Hurricane Horse” includes new player selectable free games and Fu Bat Substitute combination, and an additional Mystery Choice selection.
  • “James Bond – Diamonds are Forever” is also now approved in Asia with Scientific Games bringing this iconic character and movie into gaming properties across the world. This action-packed game features thrilling film clips from the iconic movie classic and dazzling game mechanics that are going to have players on the edge of their seats.
  • “Singing Cats,” the fourth installment in the multi-denominational linked progressive jackpot series, Jin Ji Bao Xi, incorporates familiar sounds, symbols and jackpot features that Jin Ji Bao Xi players all over Asia have come to know and love. “Singing Cats” contains a Repeat Win style Free Games Feature and an enhanced Top Up Feature, providing extra value and additional spins to the player.

Gold Sponsor IGT will be promoting its most successful Asian link product, Ying Cai Shen, at MAD 8. Ying Cai Shen was jointly produced by IGT’s Beijing and Australian studios and is designed to build player excitement and anticipation, demonstrating IGT’s passion and momentum in delivering content designed for players across Asia.

IAG is very pleased to be working once again with our Production Partner, Like Entertainment & Production Co. Ltd, which provided production support for last November’s memorable Asian Gaming Power 50 Black Tie Gala Dinner at The Parisian Macao.

Established in 2013, Like Entertainment provides various one-stop services from creative conception planning to on-site execution for public and private institutions in Macau. It has helped plan more than 200 events, participated in the production of a number of large-scale government events, and has won the trust of many international brand enterprises and organizations, providing long-term cooperation services such as planning, design, production and promotion.

IAG is also pleased to introduce local Macau musician Lei Chi Fai as our musical act at MAD 8. Lei studied accordion at the School of Music of Macao Conservatory, and later served as a tenor member and accordion accompaniment of the Macau Choir.

In addition to the accordion, he also plays the harmonica and the mandolin, three instruments widely used in Portuguese music performances. MAD 8 guests will enjoy an array of Portuguese and Macanese songs played with the accordion, harmonica and mandolin, adding to the authentic atmosphere of the evening.

The theme of the event is: Senado Square 1960 – A night to savor the vintage Macanese and Portuguese spirit.

MAD is a regular series of industry networking social events held in Asia’s gaming hub of Macau. Each MAD brings together key industry decision-makers with the people they want to meet in a relaxed and friendly environment. A new venue is chosen for each event.

Attendees of MAD must work for an operator, a supplier to an operator, a VIP promoter or be connected to the industry in some way. All attendees must supply their business cards upon entrance. There is also a select VIP list for each event.
