MGM China subsidiary MGM Grand Paradise Limited, which holds the company’s Macau gaming concession, has signed a three-year consultancy agreement with a PR and marketing firm owned in part by its Co-Chairperson and Managing Director, Pansy Ho.
Under the terms of the agreement, Occasions Asia Pacific Limited – a Hong Kong based company that offers public relations, marketing, performance artist sourcing and event management consultancy services – can provide services to any member of the MGM Group as required, subject to certain annual caps. Those caps total HK$116 million in 2021, HK$126 million in 2022 and HK$130 million in 2023.
Under a previous agreement that ran through most of 2020, Occasions provided MGM China with project management and client servicing and reporting; brand consultancy and marketing; public relations and media relations; KOL, celebrities and VIP customer relationship building; social media campaign creative and execution; new and current partnership, co-brand opportunities identifcation and collaboration (brands, tenants, art, retail space, restaurants, spectacle or theatre); campaign activations; retail marketing; and casino marketing, MGM China said.
Ms Ho who holds a 22.49% stake in MGM China, acquired 50% of Occasions last year.
