Macau’s gaming operators may still be waiting for news on the easing of border restrictions with neighboring Guangdong Province but the SAR’s satellite and second tier casinos exhibited some incremental improvement this week based on IAG’s weekly player count.
As revealed last week, the 13 casinos visited by IAG saw around three times more players on average than Macau’s larger IRs, aided by a steady stream of locals play.
Those 13 casinos, all under license of SJM, were Babylon, Casa Real, Diamond, Eastern, Emperor, Fortuna, Golden Dragon, Kam Pek, Landmark, Legend Palace, Million Dragon, Oceanus and Royal Dragon.
For the second week in a row, Oceanus, located alongside Macau Ferry Terminal, was the busiest with 150 players, up 15.3% from 130 last week, while Kam Pek enjoyed a 7% increase in traffic to 118 players.
Not one property visited by IAG had fewer players than a week ago.
