Aristocrat Macau has announced the donation of a “significant allocation” of surgical masks to the Macau SAR government to help alleviate the current shortage due to the Coronavirus.
The masks were presented to Secretary for Social Affairs and Culture Ms Ao Ieong U on Friday, continuing Aristocrat’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts in Macau which include the continued support of Fu Hong Society, ECF Orphanage and Macao Polytechnic Institute.
“It’s sad to see the community and industry impacted by the events surrounding COVID-19,” said Aristocrat’s Sales & Business Development Director APAC, Lloyd Robson.
“We take our role as a corporate citizen in Macau seriously and are proud that we can support our community when they need it most. We look forward to seeing these masks being distributed amongst the schools, charities and various local organisations who are in need.”
The masks will be handed over to the Health Bureau, the Education and Youth Affairs Bureau and the Higher Education Bureau for distribution to frontline staff and schools in need, Aristocrat said.
