Scientific Games adds three new faces to senior leadership team

Global gaming giant Scientific Games has announced the addition of three new members to its leadership, including former Aristocrat executive Matt Wilson as Executive Vice President and Group Chief Executive, Gaming.

Wilson, who was previously Aristocrat’s President & Managing Director, Americas, will join Scientific Games on 1 March 2020 with the company describing him as “an accomplished industry leader known for delivering double digit growth, capitalizing on new business opportunities and developing strong customer relationships.”

Also joining from Aristocrat is Siobhan Lane, who will assume the new role of Chief Commercial Officer, Gaming on 1 February 2020. Lane brings more than 12 years’ experience in the industry and a “proven track record of driving business results through strong strategic and executional alignment with a focus on building high performing teams and developing an engaging culture.”

Connie James, formerly Corporate Vice President Finance – Business Operations and Supply Chain at Cargill, has already assumed the role of Chief Financial Officer as of 6 January 2020, with former Group CEO Derik Mooberry transitioning to a strategic advisory role to support the new leadership team, Scientific Games said.

“We have assembled an impressive leadership team that will complement the existing leaders and talent in our business, further strengthening our great organization and enabling our future potential,” said Scientific Games President and CEO Barry Cottle.

“We are committed to making great games and products players and partners love. A strong team of passionate people is the foundation of any great business and will further solidify our position as the world leader in gaming entertainment.”
