Electronic gaming machine distributor Asia Pioneer Entertainment (APE) says it has completed installation of the fourth and fifth units of Konami’s “Fortune Cup” into Macau casinos, including in the new ETG zone of Melco’s Studio City.
“Fortune Cup” is an arcade style Multi-Terminal Gaming Machine comprising a central 274cm-wide race track for eight horses, which can move freely and independently across the course. The game offers 12 high-definition touchscreen terminals for players to place bets and view horse odds, race statistics and comprehensive bet options for win, place and quinella.
It is also integrated with real-time digital video animation, a large LCD screen for spectators and Cantonese voice-overs jointly produced by APE and renowned Hong Kong horse racing commentator Samuel Hung.
In a Monday announcement, APE also revealed that the fifth Macau unit of “Fortune Cup” is available “at a casino of the largest single structure hotel building in Asia on the Cotai Strip,” better known as the Venetian Macao.
