Korea’s Paradise Co sees 2019 casino revenue grow 23.4%

Korean casino operator Paradise Co saw casino revenue grow 23.4% in 2019 to KRW784.81 billion, up from KRW636.04 billion 12 months earlier.

With December providing a strong finish to the year thanks to a 28.3% year-on-year increase in revenue to KRW70.38 billion at the company’s four casinos – Paradise City, Paradise Walkerhill, Jeju Grand and Busan Casino – Paradise Co’s 2019 growth was built on the back of table games which grew 24.7% to KRW740.07 billion, comprising 94.3% of casino revenues across the board.

Slot machine revenue grew 5.0% year-on-year to KRW44.74 billion.

Paradise Co’s table drop grew 16.4% in 2019 to KRW6.76 trillion, despite a 4.7% fall in table drop in December to KRW498.58 billion.
