With a focus on the increasingly important ASEAN emerging gaming markets, G2E Asia @ the Philippines kicks off today at Marriott Manila, welcoming almost 100 exhibitors and sponsors from across the region.
The newest addition to the G2E Asia brand, with the original Macau edition having been held annually in Macau each year since 2007, G2E Asia @ the Philippines will comprise an exhibition, educational conference, summit and various networking opportunities.
Inside Asian Gaming is Lead Media Partner for the event and will be presenting three conference panels during the week, as well as hosting an educational stream in association with G2E Asia and PAGCOR. IAG will also have a team of four on the ground throughout the week.
The event is being organized by the American Gaming Association and Reed Exhibitions in cooperation with PAGCOR, addressing the land-based and online gaming operators across Asia.
Tuesday’s keynote opening speech will be delivered by PAGCOR chair Andrea Domingo, who said at the recent G2E Asia @ the Philippines official launch that the event “will put the Philippines on the radar of international gaming. The advantage for PAGCOR is that it is able to share its experience and policies on responsible gaming, proper accountability, regulation as well as operating our own casinos but also showing the world how transparent we are as a regulator and how good we are as an operator of casinos.”
Other speakers include Resorts World Manila’s Chief Gaming Operations Officer Hakan Dagtas and Melco Resorts & Entertainment’s SVP and Chief Information Officer, Avery Palos.
G2E Asia @ the Philippines will also hold a Product Awards and Gala Dinner tonight, aimed at recognizing excellence and the most popular products in gaming and entertainment among the exhibits. All registered visitors will be eligible to vote for the awards.
