The World Poker Tour has announced that it will host the very first WPT Cambodia at NagaWorld in Phnom Penh this year.
The 10-day festival will run from 16 to 25 November 2019 and comprise 17 events, highlighted by the US$1,100 WPT Main Event with a US$250,000 guaranteed prize pool. Buy-ins throughout the course of the series will range from US$250 to US$5,300.
“Asia-Pacific is a hotbed for poker and the WPT is proud to bring another exciting event to the region,” said Angelica Hael, VP of Global Tour Management for the World Poker Tour. “This event would not be possible without continued support from players around the globe and we invite them to join us this November at the wonderful NagaWorld property.”
The addition of WPT Cambodia to the 2019 schedule comes just two months after the World Poker Tour announced it will also hold the first ever WPT Australia at The Star Gold Coast in October.
