Korea’s Paradise Co has continued its recent recovery in June with casino revenue increasing 25.9% year-on-year to KRW71.61 billion (US$61.4 million).
The strong results came despite Paradise Co playing unlucky when compared with June 2018, with table drop up 36.9% to KRW615.18 billion (US$527.3 million).
June’s numbers, which were also 17.2% higher than May, included KRW67.74 billion in table game revenue and KRW3.87 billion in slot machine revenue.
Casino revenue for the first six months of 2019 grew 19.0% year-on-year to KRW351.21 billion, with table drop rising 26.2% to KRW3.47 trillion.
Paradise operates Paradise Walker-hill in Seoul, Jeju Grand and Busan Casino as well as its first integrated resort, Paradise City, in Incheon, which is a joint venture with Japan’s Sega Sammy.
