Melco Resorts & Entertainment has launched the latest recruitment drive for three of its recently opened satellite casinos in Cyprus.
The company announced this week that it is looking for at least 19 new employees to work as dealers and gaming machine attendants at Cyprus Casinos (C2) in Ayia Napa, Nicosia and Limassol. They will join around 800 mostly local residents already employed by Melco at its Cyprus properties ahead of the opening of the €550 million City of Dreams Mediterranean in 2021.
The successful dealer applicants will undergo a three-month training program with gaming machine attendants to attend an intensive two-month training program that will include theoretical and practical on-the-job training as official Melco employees.
“More important is the quality of the training which is consistent with our global Melco Hiring Philosophy where we hire on attitude, image and potential and we train on skills,” said VP Human Resources of Melco in Cyprus, Victoria Michaelidou.
Melco says it will boast a 2,400-strong workforce in Cyprus once City of Dreams Mediterranean opens its doors.
