The world’s biggest gaming industry trade exhibition, ICE London, gets underway today.
Celebrating seven years since moving from its former home at Earl’s Court to the cavernous expanses of the ExCeL center, ICE London will this year welcome 612 exhibitors from 66 nations, occupying a record 44,500 square meters in floor space.
Around 35,000 visitors are expected to attend the event over the course of the next three days from 5 to 7 February.
Inside Asian Gaming will again be present on the showroom floor, with Managing Editor Ben Blaschke and Director of Business Development and Sales Jadeson Ho on site for the duration. If you’re in town, be sure to stop by Booth ND9-D and say hello.
In an interview in the lead-up to this year’s show, Kate Chambers, Managing Director of ICE London organizer Clarion Gaming, told IAG that ICE stood out from other globally recognized gaming trade events due to its unique ability to bring together the land-based and online sectors as one.
“The narrative is now about the creation and delivery of compelling content that meets the gaming entertainment needs of consumers in the digital age. Hence, we have exhibitors developing content for bricks-and-mortar gaming who also deploy those games online. It’s all about the content,” Chambers said.
