Macau Theme Park and Resort Limited – a company controlled by SJM Co-Chairman and Executive Director Angela Leong – has registered six new Macau trademarks, most likely to be incorporated into SJM’s under-construction Cotai integrated resort Grand Lisboa Palace.
According to a report by Macau News Agency, the six trademark names are Eyecon, Lisboner, Signature Noodles, Vintage Desserts, Macau Desserts and Jumbo Palace. All have been registered in both English and Chinese.
The applications indicate that Eyecon will provide business management services, training and night club services, technological services and hotel services. Lisboner will provide night club training services, technological projects, catering and hotel services and business administration services.
Signature Noodles, Vintage Desserts and Macau Desserts will provide food and beverage services and business administration services, while Jumbo Palace is registered under hotel and catering services and the provision of tobacco.
SJM is yet to declare a precise opening date for Grand Lisboa Palace, which was originally planned to launch later this year before a series of construction delays saw that date pushed back. It has been speculated by analysts that the property is unlikely to open before early 2020.
