Macau’s Paradise Entertainment Group says it has already deployed 364 new Live Multi Game (LMG) terminals to the city’s casinos in 2018 – almost five times the number of terminals it deployed through all of 2017.
The group’s activities were detailed in its 2017 Annual Report, released on Tuesday, and follow a year in which Paradise deployed just 78 LMG terminals in total at peninsula properties Wynn Macau and Legend Palace. It had previously deployed 893 terminals at six properties in 2016.
Paradise issued its first deployment of 2018 on 13 February, with MGM Cotai installing 217 terminals for its grand opening. The following day, another 97 terminals were added at Casino Waldo – one of three Macau casinos under Paradise’s management.
The company also revealed that it has signed an agreement with a gaming service provider operating at Casino L’Arc for deployment of 50 LMG terminals under a revenue sharing arrangement for an initial term of three years.
Excluding the 1,291 terminals installed at the Macau casinos under its management, Paradise reported average daily GGR per terminal of HK$425 in 2017 but didn’t reveal the total number of terminals it currently has deployed in the Macau market.
