A Taiwanese manufacturer of light displays for the gaming industry is one of six new members of AGEM—the Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers—announced today.
Litemax Technology, based in Taiwan with US offices in Fremont, California, is a high bright manufacturer (i.e. a maker of flat panel products using light-emitting diodes as a video display).
Litemax offers a wide range of displays and also form factors for the gaming industry. For non-technical readers form factors are components or devices (such as a circuit board, disk drive, or power supply of a computer) of unique size. That size then determines the component’s physical compatibility or interchangeability with other components or devices of a system.
The addition of Litemax and five US-based companies to AGEM’s ranks takes the total membership of the international trade group to 118.
The other new members are:
Grand Products Nevada, LLC, based in Las Vegas, a contract manufacturing company specialising in cable harness production, circuit board assembly, electromechanical sub-assembly and final assembly for the gaming, amusement and other industries;
Kontron, based in Poway, Calif., one of the world’s largest manufacturers of embedded computer technology, specialising in graphics performance, processor power, data security and system integration for leading OEMs, system integrators and application providers in a variety of industries including gaming and entertainment.
Tech Results, based in Las Vegas, specialising in customer service, business intelligence and customer relationship management for the hospitality and gaming industries;
Video Gaming Technologies, Inc. (VGT), from Brentwood, Tennessee, one of the leading manufacturers of Class II games and the largest privately owned video gaming terminal manufacturer in the US and;
Warrior Gaming Associates, based in Las Vegas with a manufacturing facility in Canada, a manufacturer and distributor of slot machines and provider of consulting and management services.
