FutureLogic Inc. is conducting an administrative field trial of FutureLogic’s PromoNet® promotional couponing solution at South Point Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. The trial is authorised by the Nevada Gaming Control Board. It began on 19th September and is expected to be completed by 17th October.
The authorisation by Nevada and the live trial in Las Vegas is potentially a breakthrough moment for FutureLogic in marketing PromoNet globally.
PromoNet gives South Point (and other casinos in the future) the ability to design and manage a wide range of promotional campaigns from the convenience of a workstation PC, turning ordinary slot tickets into eye-catching coupons. The PromoNet campaigns can be downloaded via a secure network to the slot floor, players’ clubdatabase, restaurants, hotels and shops, providing an integrated couponing solution across the entire operation.
“We believe that the PromoNet couponing solution will help us expand and streamline our casino marketing initiatives,” said Cliff Paige, Director of Slots at South Point. “It will give us the ability to automatically trigger a marketing campaign based on game play metrics, player tracking information, POS systems and redemption terminals, and then monitor the success and return of each campaign. The PromoNet couponing solution will help us tailor casino promotions, so that we can match the reward to that of the player, with something they will actually use.”
FutureLogic says its template-based PromoNet technology is unique in that it gives casinos the ability to recognise and reward both carded and non-carded players by automatically triggering marketing campaigns based on real-time game play metrics and player tracking information. The company says it also allows marketers to issue a coupon at the game, point of sale or HBE (hospitality, beverage, entertainment) location to identify, differentiate and interact with their most valuable players, even those not using a player’s club card.
“The PromoNet couponing solution facilitates the latest evolution in casino marketing,” said Nick Micalizzi, FutureLogic’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing North America. “The ability to issue a player a bar-coded promotional coupon helps casinos attract and retain customers. For players, these offers provide valued savings and incentives, thereby enhancing their casino/resort experience. We are very excited about this trial and look forward to supporting South Point’s new marketing initiatives.”
