We at Asian Gaming Intelligence know our readers expect high standards. That’s why we’ve decided to ban a number of words and phrases commonly used to describe the global credit crisis before you go into meltdown with us.
Henceforth ‘tsunami’; ‘crunch’; ‘squeeze’ and of course ‘meltdown’ itself will be banned from this newsletter, unless they are used respectively in relation to: large waves resulting from undersea volcanic eruptions or earthquakes; the sound made when eating a fresh apple or raw vegetable; the manipulation of objects including tubes of toothpaste, and accidents occurring to nuclear reactors.
What are the chances?
