Tak Chun Group has launched a new VIP club at Four Seasons, The Plaza Macao, the Macau junket operator’s 15th venue.

The new operation opened for business on Tuesday – the same day as nearby MGM Cotai welcomed its first customers – with Tak Chun Four Seasons to hold its Grand Opening Ceremony on Sunday 25 February. The VIP club boasts 12 tables in four rooms.

Tak Chun is one of five junket operators already confirmed for MGM Cotai, which will launch the VIP side of its business in the coming months.

In an interview with Inside Asian Gaming in 2017, Tak Chun’s Senior Vice President of Business Development, Wayne Lio, said the company was pursing an aggressive expansion strategy in Macau and beyond.

“The whole [VIP] market has stabilized in many ways so we are being more aggressive to try and get more market share,” he said.

“We’ve also got rooms in other areas of Asia like the Philippines and Korea. As part of Tak Chun’s gaming initiative, we are also committed to bringing an exceptional entertainment experience to these destinations around the world.”
