oasting a brand new name and featuring
a number of new sectors to reflect Macau’s
growing diversity, the
MGS Entertainment
Show
celebrated its fourth year in 2016.
Held at the Venetian Macao from 15 to 17
November, the gaming trade show and exhibition
– formerly known as the Macao Gaming Show –
attracted a total of 195 exhibitors from 24 countries
and regions.
Aswell as showcasing the latest productsmade by
and for the Asian gaming industry, MGS also debuted
a Technology Zone, a Tourism and Culture Zone and
a Style and Fashion Zone in 2016. Interestingly, the
reaction to the show from exhibitors we spoke to
varied withmost expressing disappointment with the
number of business opportunities on Day 1, only for
the mood to brighten considerably with considerably
morepositive feedback byDay 3.
However, Chairman of show organizer Macao

will be producing a further three-year plan for the next
phaseof expansion anddevelopment.”
