The Coingaming Group, which operates popular bitcoin-led betting brands including Bitcasino.io and Sportsbet.io, has made a series of senior appointments to bolster its marketing and sportsbook teams.

Olga Kikas and Ralph Clark have been appointed as Head of Marketing and Head of Business Intelligence respectively across the wider Coingaming Group.

Under the Sportsbet.io brand, Dominic Hardcastle has been hired as Head of Sportsbook, and Joao Caboz will be the Head of Sportsbook Marketing.

Kikas will run the over-arching marketing strategy for all the brands within the Coingaming Group, and comes with strong industry expertise, having held senior positions within forex, telecoms and iGaming, where she worked for Unibet, and then GAN as their Head of Performance Media Marketing.

Ralph, who has spent more than ten years within the gaming sector with roles at partygaming, bwin and GVC, will lead the group’s focus on enhancing its data resources to improve both its user experience and financials.

Within the Sportsbet.io brand, Hardcastle will oversee the sportsbook product and trading team, having previously worked at William Hill for a decade, where he held various management roles within trading.

Caboz’s main responsibility is shaping the marketing direction for Sportsbet.io and engaging new customers across its operational territories. He joins having overseen high-level projects for other operators within Portugal, including Betclic, the first company to obtain a sports betting license in the jurisdiction.

Tim Heath, CEO of the Coingaming Group, said, “I am very pleased to be bringing in a group of individuals with such a strong and varied wealth of knowledge from different areas of the industry, and I am excited to see what they can offer in the coming months.

“Our recent rate of growth has been rapid, and to keep up with this we have actively looked to employee industry experts, and I believe Olga, Ralph, Dominic and Joao can help us build on this success even further.”

The appointments follow the hiring of Richard Walsh, formerly of William Hill, as Managing Director in May, and he has overseen a significant structural reorganization of the group in response to a sustained period of growth.
